About the Studies

It may be difficult to remember a life where you didn’t feel depressed—you’re struggling and feel lost. You may even have trouble sleeping at night. Most of all, you’re probably frustrated that nothing seems to help. You’re not alone, and it’s not your fault. About 16.2 million adults a year will experience a major depressive episode1, and 16.6% of adults in the United States have had at least one episode in their lifetime.2
